Kelsey is the practice owner and a practitioner.  She founded Buckhead Speech Specialists in order to give patients, parents, and private schools the elite therapy and care that parents expect. She ensures that each client is given the amount of time and attention they deserve. 

Kelsey has lived in Atlanta her whole life. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 2012. In 2014, she graduated from Georgia State University with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders.

 Since graduating from Georgia State, Kelsey has practiced early intervention techniques in the special needs preschool setting, as well as worked in the private practice setting.

Kelsey is Hanen Certified in It Takes Two to Talk, a program that is designed specifically for parents of young children (birth to 5 years of age) who have been identified as having a language delay.

When she is not working, Kelsey enjoys running, doing yoga, and spending time with her husband and their son, Hudson.

Kelsey Dalene

Shannon is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with pediatric experience in a variety of settings, including early intervention, private practice, and public schools. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama in 2018 and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University in 2020. 

Shannon has evaluated and treated children with language delays, articulation disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, Autism, Down Syndrome, and social/pragmatic delays. She is passionate about instilling confidence in her patients and providing information and support to families related to speech/language intervention.

Shannon originally grew up in Atlanta, and outside of work she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to join the Buckhead Speech Specialists team!

Shannon Hill

Ceci graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she majored in Education. After graduation, Ceci moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and began teaching elementary aged students. She is a licensed teacher who previously taught at E. Rivers Elementary and Marcus Autism Center. Ceci has training in Applied Behavior Analysis and uses research based instructional strategies during tutoring sessions. Ceci has experience teaching general education students, in addition to students with special needs. She is passionate about making learning fun and facilitating children’s growth. When Ceci is not studying or teaching, she spends time with family and friends, and also enjoys hiking and painting. Ceci is excited to help cultivate confident learners as a tutor at Buckhead Speech Specialists.

Sally Norman, M.Ed. CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience in early intervention, schools, daycares, and private practice. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University in 2009 and her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University in 2012.

Throughout her professional career, she has had the opportunity to work with children in several settings and has experience working with children diagnosed with language delays, articulation/phonological delays, apraxia, Autism, and Down Syndrome. Sally enjoys watching her clients make progress and working closely with their families each step of the way!

When not at work, Sally enjoys spending time with her husband, two children (Margaret and Rin), and her dog Penny!

Amanda Gibson, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience in a variety of settings, including school, early intervention, and private practice. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 2012 and her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. There, she focused on multicultural issues and bilingualism. 

After returning to Atlanta, Amanda practiced early intervention in the preschool setting through the Cobb County School District for five years and in the school age (Kindergarten-5th Grade) setting for one year, as well as additional work in the private sector. 

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys attending Georgia football games, gardening, traveling with her husband, and going to concerts.

Claire Hamner, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience treating children and adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient medical, school, early intervention, and private practice. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Auburn University in 2016 and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Boston University in 2020. While attending Boston University, she completed externships focused on early language skills, feeding, and augmentative communication with both children and adults. Claire’s personal goals are to always find means to empower clients and their families throughout the evaluation or treatment process. Claire is originally from Atlanta and outside of work she enjoys running, trying new restaurants with friends, and gardening.

Claire Hamner

Brooke Millman M.A., CCC-SLP is a certified speech-language pathologist who has experience evaluating and treating the pediatric population, ages 3-11, in the school setting. Currently, Brooke works full time for Dekalb County School District and has been at an elementary school for 3 years. She works for Buckhead Speech Specialists in the afternoons and on Saturday. Brooke has worked with children who have varying abilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and varying learning disabilities. She also has experience working with children who have been diagnosed with articulation, language, and pragmatic disorders. Brooke received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Miami University in 2015 and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. 

Brooke is originally from Cincinnati, OH and has lived in the Atlanta area for 3 years. When she is not working, Brooke enjoys working out, reading, and going to new restaurants with her friends!
