Kelsey is the practice owner and a practitioner.  She founded Buckhead Speech Specialists in order to give patients and parents,  the elite therapy and care that they are looking for. She ensures that each client is given the amount of time and attention they deserve. 

Kelsey has lived in Atlanta her whole life. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 2012. In 2014, she graduated from Georgia State University with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders.

 Since graduating from Georgia State, Kelsey has practiced early intervention techniques in the special needs preschool setting, as well as worked in the private practice setting.

Kelsey is Hanen Certified in It Takes Two to Talk, a program that is designed specifically for parents of young children (birth to 5 years of age) who have been identified as having a language delay.

When she is not working, Kelsey enjoys doing yoga, pure barre, and spending time with her husband and their sons, Hudson and Hank.

Sarah Dailey, M.S. CCC-SLP is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience in private practice, schools, and feeding therapy. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kentucky.

She has experience working with children with a variety of disorders including feeding/swallowing disorders, hearing loss, autism, down syndrome, expressive and receptive communication disorders, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and pragmatic disorders.

In her free time she enjoys cooking and traveling as well as enjoying time with friends and family. She also enjoys any outing that includes her sweet dog Rigby!

Sarah Beth Dailey

Claire Hamner, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience treating children and adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient medical, school, early intervention, and private practice. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Auburn University in 2016 and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Boston University in 2020. While attending Boston University, she completed externships focused on early language skills, feeding, and augmentative communication with both children and adults. Claire’s personal goals are to always find means to empower clients and their families throughout the evaluation or treatment process. Claire is originally from Atlanta and outside of work she enjoys running, trying new restaurants with friends, and gardening.

Emma received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Alabama in 2019 and her Master of Science in Communicative Sciences & Disorders from University of South Alabama in 2021.

While in school, she gained experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings working with children and adults. Emma has treated a wide variety of speech and language disorders. She grew up in Mobile, Alabama where she enjoyed frequent trips to the beach. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family.
 
Emma is certified by the Georgia Board of Speech Pathology & Audiology and is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Emma Fontenot

Courtney Penrose, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience treating children and young adults in a variety of settings including schools, early intervention, and private practices. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Auburn University in 2018  and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of West Georgia in 2021. Courtney is originally from Roswell, Georgia and outside of work she enjoys reading, running, and traveling! She also loves taking her goldendoodle, Maple, on walks and to Fetch!

Lauren Rush, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience treating children and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Mississippi in 2015 and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of South Alabama in 2017. 
Lauren is originally from Carrollton, Georgia. When she is not working, Lauren enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their daughter, Collins and dog, Riggins!
